Introduction
Instructional design models help explain the processes used to design and develop instruction. Several models are used in different settings and the following ones are the most popular ones.
- ADDIE Model
- Merrill’s Principles of Instruction
- Gagne’s Nine Events of Instructions
- Dick and Carey Model
While the purpose of this course is not to dive deep into these models, its first module will introduce you to the process of designing and delivering online courses using one of the Instructional System Design models, ADDIE.
